TULSA, OK June 10, 2009 Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine has released its annual Distribution Giants Study. The study features a ranking of the Top 100 foodservice equipment and supplies dealers based on sales volume. Tulsa’s Curtis Restaurant Supply climbed from #86 in 2008 to #79 with an increase in sales from $10 million dollars to $13.18 million dollars. Company owners Jay Gulick and David Hillin credit the increase in sales to the expansion of large commercial ventures such as the 2008 Downstream Casino and Resort project which included kitchen planning and design services, as well as furnishing foodservice and bar equipment. The top 100 dealers reported sales of $4.74 billion dollars which includes a 2.85% increase from 2007 to 2008.
