Yolotti Frozen Yogurt owners, Mike and Patty D’Onofrio, visited several restaurant supply stores and were skeptical when they walked into Curtis Restaurant Supply. They had done their research and knew the cost of equipment and smallwares. Mike D’Onofrio says, “We went to all of them, but liked the feel of the Curtis store, and of course, the people.”

Blue Rose Café was a favorite hot spot in Tulsa’s Brookside area for more than a decade. Now, the restaurant overlooks the Arkansas River just north of the 21st street bridge. It still has great, casual American food, live music, and cold beer. But now it has expansive patio dining, an outside bar, and a beautiful view of the river.

Jimmy Blacketer, of 6 B’s Restaurant Management Group, LLC, is the owner of the new Waterfront Grill in Jenks, Oklahoma. It is an American grill serving burgers, flatbread pizza, gourmet salads, hickory wood grilled steaks, fresh seafood, and sushi. This is his second major project. He also owns Los Cabos, a fine dining Mexican restaurant located in the nearby Jenks Riverwalk development.

Oklahoma National Guard units in Muskogee, Eufaula, Pryor, and Stilwell will certainly enjoy their new home located on U.S. 64 south of Muskogee. The 125,000-square-foot facility is definitely larger and totally modern, but the architectural style of the new building is surprisingly reminiscent of a 1930’s WPA armory. Although the nostalgic exterior may fool you, the new kitchen is 100% high-tech.

ALOFT is a unique hotel with an ultra-modern design in south Tulsa. The hotel has a colorful décor, 136 loft-style guest rooms, 24-hour snack bar, kitchen, prep room, and full service bar.
General Manager, Mr. Ken Morgan, comments, “Our management company, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., came to this project late, and we had a very tight deadline. Kathy Bennett at Curtis Restaurant Supply was recommended to us by Andy Patel, president of Anish Hotels Group.”

When you walk into the new Seῆor Tequila in south Tulsa, it’s like walking into a restaurant in sunny Mexico. The colors are bright and inviting, and you are whisked away to enjoy an authentic Mexican meal.
Owners Carlos and Elisha Atilano chose the Plaza del Sol Shopping Center at 101st and Mingo Road for their new restaurant because of the Mediterranean architecture. “The tile roof and stucco exterior accents the interior design of the restaurant,” says Mrs. Atilano. “We also enjoy the peaceful outdoor patio. The large water fountain creates a soothing, tropical backdrop for the outside dining area. On weekends, customers have a front-seat view of live entertainment on the outdoor stage. In cooler weather, the outdoor fireplace creates a romantic space, just perfect for huddling by the fire.”
